Shibuya Crossing is the most fascinating pedestrian crossing in the world. Every 2 minutes 10 car lanes come to a stop because all pedestrian lights sign »go« at the same time. Up to 2.500 pedestrians cross the streets simultaneously in 5 directions.

It is a fascinating spectacle that only exists, because a very conventional system got rethought and transformed into a better and functional solution.
